OUR IDEA ABOUT DESIGN
About us, the design is a clever mix between technology, art, materials. The goal of design is not just to create a product but mostly to integrate a new product in a living environment.
STEP 1 : References
To guide us in our research, we have four constraints that answer the questions : who ? when ? where ? material ?

STEP 2 : Brainstorming
After a long brainstorming, we decided to choose our final idea : a bar trunk
Description of the idea
This trunk is equipped by an Ipad which could be indicate the amount of alcohol available, the amount you have to buy (with a button to order a new bottle !) for the next party and also propose you various cocktail you can make with what you have ! In this trunk, there is few compartments to classify your alcohol according to the good temperature.
Description of the context and user
Your friend are coming to your house tonight, but you don’t know what to offer them to drink… With your trunk you could know what you have, what you need to buy and what cocktail you can propose them !

1) You will never lack of drunk
This trunk is equipped with an integrated touch pad that lets you know your actual level of alcohol and soft left inside.
2) You can order in live from you table
The integrated touch pad also proposes a program which allows you to order from your home everything you need regarding to your level of drinks left.
3) To will always have cocktail idea supply
The touch pad integrates a program which proposes you different cocktails in accordance with the alcohol and soft you have in stock.

With its little wheels, you can move it easily where you want to taste your delicious beverages: near the pool? In your living room close to the fireplace? In the kitchen? It is up to you!
6) It is a beautiful piece of decoration
With its exterior in lather and its interior in oak wood, this object will know how to add style with sobriety and elegance to your house.
7) Your drinks will always be at right temperature
Both sides of the fridge integrated in the trunk are programmed to be at the right temperature to preserve each of your alcohols and permitted that whenever you want to have a drink, you will not have to wait to enjoy it.

With its different compartments, its ice tray and its diverse storages for glasses and equipments, you will have all what you need to spend a nice time with your friends

Our inspiration :
For the interior material :
For the fresh compartments of the trunk we get inspired by an electric wine cellar :
Our trunk : there are 4 fresh compartments according to the temperature of conservation of wine and spirit. The two doors contain compartment for softs, sirups and some alcohol which could be conserve at room temperature. When you open the doors, that switchs the light on. There is also a floor to put appetizers and all essential accessories for an aperitif : bottle opener, shaker, pestel…
The interior material will be in oak and the exterior is in leather. On the top of the trunk you can find a touch pad which indicate you the available level of alcohol and soft and from which you can order what you miss. This touch pad could also propose you many cocktail according to what you have in stock. The trunk is equiped with a battery and casters to be more independent and transportable.
