With these differents characteristics, we decide to put the maximum of ideas we had, and then to choose which one was the best. We retained 2 ideas\u00a0: A king of Digital Memories Ball to make life back again for our memories and a Digital Communication Ball (a ball which permits us to skype\/facetime while doing other thing and which is following us thanks to levitation).<\/p>\n

The Digital Memories Ball met a great success in our class. So It helps us to choose between our 2 ideas : The Digital Memories Ball and the Digital Communication Ball.<\/p>\n

Brainstorming\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

We had a long brainstorming because we had a problem with the communication part of the “Memo Ball” project. \u00a0It’s because the Digital Memories had a great success that we, finally, decided to keep the idea of the Memories Ball and because of the Christmas Time, and then to work on it.<\/p>\n

Description of our Product\u00a0: MEMO BALL – La boule \u00e0 souvenirs<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Concept<\/strong>\u00a0: It\u2019s a Christmas ball which is going to give life back again to our memories.<\/p>\n

Its goal<\/strong> : to re-live our memories. Inside, the picture appears as a hologram (live photo in 3D). There is a chip below the ball that connects the photo to the ball. In addition, there is a downlable application (computer, smartphone), which allows to share photos to put in the ball next : You just have to choose a photo, then to choose a person in the application, You send the photo to him and He can decide if He wants it or not and then to put it in his Memo Ball.<\/p>\n

The communication function<\/strong> : The application linked to the ball allows to exchange photos between people (friends, family) for even more memories. But You can even send photos to yourself in your Memo Ball.<\/p>\n

Describe the context user<\/strong> : Our project is part of the magic of Christmas. Wether in a big house or in a tiny apparement, this Christmas ball can make live big memories ! Everyone can use it.<\/p>\n

    A young girl could not be at home for Christmas, so she decides to offer a gift to her mother in order to be there with her for Christmas. She explains it in a mail.<\/p>\n

    \u00ab\u00a0Hi Mommy,<\/p>\n

    Sorry could not be at home for charismas\u2026 I have to stay in Boston for an important project. However don\u2019t worry I\u2019m thinking of you! check your mailbox, I order to you a little memo box. It\u2019s a Christmas crystal ball connected. You will just have to light on this one\u2026 and a little surprise will appear! Despite I will not be with you physically, I will be thanks to this little ball. I put inside all my childhood memories with you.<\/p>\n

      Once upon a time, a little boy and his grand-ma living far away of each other. Unfortnatly for us, they only can see each other at Christmas, when the grand-mother come for. But, thank\u2019s to the \u00ab\u00a0boule \u00e0 souvenirs\u00a0\u00bb, they still can be in touch and see each other\u00a0!<\/p>\n

        Prototype & Design of the Ball<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

        Design<\/strong> : It\u2019s a little ball in crystal, which is like a Christmas Ball to put in a Christmas Tree during Christmas Time.<\/p>\n

        This Ball can become an object of decoration for the interior thanks to its base. The base will be made in tinted glass to remind cold materials.<\/p>\n

        So You have the choice : You can put this ball as a Christmas Ball or You can just put It on its base to make It an object.<\/p>\n

        Technology aspect<\/strong> :\u00a0The ball is composed of a chip at the bottom of it to show the photos in it.
        \nIn order to recharge it, its base is equivalent to a wireless charging station.<\/p>\n

        Here is the prototype of the Memo Ball and its base.<\/p>\n

        Prototype and Design of t<\/strong>he application<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

        Our ball needs an application to work. For this, we think of an application that would look like the application “Messenger” (Facebook) for photo sharing.<\/p>\n

        The icon : For the icon, we choose to put a Christmas Ball in the center in order to remind the concept.<\/p>\n

        This is the different part of the application to share photos between persons or yourself.<\/p>\n
