My goal with this project was to create an LED wall that would interact with a user. I wasn’t sure exactly how this interaction would work, I considered using proximity sensors but decided to incorporate the sense of touch instead.
First I experimented with different colors and patterns.
Then I decided to use a pressure sensor to activate the LED lights. The pressure sensor was created by using the copper thread on conducive material. I repurposed a cardboard box into a make-shift space (main wall, floor) and created my prototype.
